Viva Presentation

The last task for this subject was Viva presentation. We were divided into 9 groups. Each one of us need to choose one article from the first assignment and present it and answered a few question from the panel which are our classmates from different group. I was in group two with Zulqarnain and Nur Atikah.I chooses to present about the Jews and their Deceits and I was excited because all of the panels wanted to ask question to me.

Although, it seems that they did not feel satisfied with my answer. I denied their right to argue back and ask others to ask questions.

Most of the presenters had done their best. A round of applause should be given to all.

Islamophobia.

Islamphobia is a condition when is prejudice against, or an irrational fear of Islam or Muslims. This situation makes others to think Islam as terrorists. I as Muslims feel frustrated and feel like want to kill of them. The video that shows of our lecture was the best example to shows the phenomena. Muslims cannot build mosque at ground zero or the site of 9/11.The situation become worsen when they banned game counter strike to be play in certain country because they think that Muslims will using the strategy in the game to destroy them.

As conclusion, this phenomena should not be exists because not all Muslims are evil and Us politicians should prevent this not make others hate Muslims.

Euphemistic language

Many of us do not realize that they itself using euphemistic language .Generally, euphemistic language is a way to express feeling. It is the same with the honest and direct language but the different is the ways to express it. Honest and direct language tell readers directly what he or she wants to say while euphemistic language do not tells reader directly instead using proper words because for them the honest and direct language is a bit harsh and can easily hurt others. At class, we saw a video clip about euphemism by late George Carlin. He said that the victim of rape is an unwilling receiver of sperm. It sounds funny.

From my opinion, each of the language have its own advantages and disadvantages. It is on us when and how to use it.

Animal Farm

Credits should be given to our lecture for introducing this movie towards us. This movie should be watch because from this movie, we can valuable lessons or the true of life. This movie is about group of animals that lead by the young pig name Snow Ball. At That time, their life was great but when he died first, Napolean become a leader and the condition change.The author wants to show us that one of life characteristics is social stratification exist in many culture in world. Social stratification is each of members of society will be divided into certain society due to the same characteristics like wealth, power. This can be seen by the words "ALL ANIMALS ARE EQUAL, BUT SOME ARE MORE EQUAL THAN OTHERS”. The best example is caste system in India.

Struggle of the student’s on 4^th article.

The article that was given to us needs us to make a lot of effort on it and kind of things happen. That why it was called the struggle of the students’ on 4^th article. We need to read many times in order to catch what the articles are all about. Below were the titles of the articles:

At first, I have difficulty in remembering to put however in the perspective and the reason to put it. Now I can manage to give the answer. Something happen at the night before the due date .One of my friends was sick at that night due to what they called in Malay ‘ada hantu menumpang’ and it takes time for the pawang to throw out the ghost and it was great.

A man called Julies Caesar

Julies Caesar, a passionate war leader for the Romans died killed by Marcus Brutus because he was accused an ambitious person. Mark Anthony, who love him give a speech in order to make them realize the truth. He was using syllogism to make the roman realize it. Generally, syllogism makes people to use their logic to find out what one wants to say. In class, I learn how to produce syllogism and I think I can apply it in life. This is the example:

Ambitious man need to be killed.

Julies was killed

Thus, Julies Caesar was an honorable man.

SPEECH FROM STEVE OF JOBS

STEVE JOBS have done a good job in giving his speech. His speech make many realize that life must go on and god has written something for us up there. So, believe in fate. Life is not all about only being success in life. He makes us believe that one must face difficulty in order to be success and it is the job for someone like him to give advice to others and tell his or her story in order to educate others especially teenagers. From the speech I learn that learning at college is a must but it not mean that a person went to college will be success .Instead, the college will come to your if you success in your field without when to the college. Being success in life because entering the college is call power but when not entering college and success is what we called great.

THE JEWS

When referring to Jews, first thing that derived from my head is how much others hate them. To hate them is not a sin but should we hate them? That the question. History shows that they were killed and been slave from ancient times. When the Nazi on power, they were hunt and killed by Hitler. Many do not know that Hitler itself was a Jews. From this, it can be concluded that Jews are cruel in nature. Killing and suppress are normal for them. They should win the best awards of best actor and actress not the Hollywood actor and actress because they can play their role well without having any director or script because they themselves are the director. They tell others that them represent kindness, generosity and honesty. However, Jews are the big liars and hiding their true colors. They have made others to believe what others want to believe about them by conceal their thoughts, telling us want we want to hear, respect us carefully. For example the Germaine’s had believed them for hundreds years and finally realize their true attention.

Generally, the rule of ten consists of ten elements. That why I think it been called the rule of ten. When learning these rules, I am capable to argue and give a good justification on my opinion. Below are the elements of rule of ten:

Superstition

Superstition had embedded Malaysian culture from the elders to the young. Traditionally, it was passed from generation to generation. Generally superstition is a belief that does not based on proof and thorough scientific evidence. This phenomena still exist until today because of the faith of it believers. Superstition can be classified as two, local and international. Local superstitions are superstition that practice by local and international superstitions are superstitions that practice by all. The example of local superstition are a girl who sings in the kitchen is fated to marry an old man, pointing at rainbow will make you lose your finger, if a black cat jump over a corpse, the corpse will be a ghost and others.Even nowadays, they are still Malaysian that still believes the help of supernatural to achieve well, power and others. They used the help of some sought of people that act as medium to achieve their goals in life. They have different name in different culture. For example, bomoh in malay culture ,feng shui masters(Chinese geomancers) and Indian astrologers. This practice should be stopped immediately by the government to ensure the stability and security of nation.

Socrates

Socrates, a classical Greek Philosopher was born in the year 469 B.C.E at Athens. He was the son of an Athenian stonemason and sculptor named Sophroniscus. He was pictured as person that rarely or never wash clothes and walk around Athens barefooted. Socrates is a non-conformist person. Non-conformist refers to one that does not accept or reject to be in an usual beliefs, customs or practices. He questioned everything including the truth about god’s words and curios why he was a little ugly man differently from what consider as grateful and beautiful in Athens. He likes to find the truth and correct the lazy assumption. Socrates gave the world a valuable gift that is to think logically about ourselves in order to become more confident, independent and less problem in facing what others think about us. Basically, Socrates was the founder of the critical thinking. He develops this method of questioning and cross-examination of position that consider as the perfect critical thinking. Critical thinking is the state when one is using all knowledge and intelligence to be in sensible and logical position. Socrates died in 399B.C.E because he took hemlock, a poison.
